CYT has camp offerings throughout the year for students ages 3-18. Camps are designed to be a fun and energetic immersion into the world of musical theatre. Camps are jam-packed with games, activities, and interactive workshops that build performance skills, self-confidence, and teamwork. Typical camps include team competitions; rotations through drama, dance, music, and behind the scenes workshops; and a concluding showcase for family and friends.

New at CYT Dallas this year are Summer Studio Classes! This 4-week class session offers a fun, flexible, and low-pressure way for the whole family to stay connected and growing between regular class sessions. Register today! 

Spring Break Camp | March 16-20 | Ages 3-13

Prepare for the best Spring Break Ever at CYT Camp! Explore the world inside your mind at Outside In: The Swap! CYT invites performers ages 3–13 to dive into a high-energy week filled with games, themed crafts, friendship-building activities, daily devotionals, and rehearsal as they prepare for a heartwarming final showcase performance. Campers will enjoy rotations through acting, dance, and music, plus creative challenges and games inspired by the emotions in our story. This camp promises an engaging and meaningful experience for every age group.

Beats of Broadway: Musical Theatre Camp

Get ready to feel the rhythm at Beats of Broadway: Musical Theatre Camp! CYT invites performers ages 6–13 to step into a high-energy week filled with singing, dancing, acting, games, themed activities, daily devotionals, and rehearsal as they prepare for an exciting final showcase performance. Inspired by the sounds, stories, and styles of Broadway, campers will explore what makes musical theatre come alive—onstage and behind the scenes.

Wilderness Adventure: Musical Theatre Camp

Get ready to unplug, explore, and make memories at Wilderness Adventures: Musical Theatre Camp! CYT invites performers ages 6–13 to enjoy a fun-filled week of singing, dancing, acting, camp-themed games, creative activities, daily devotionals, and rehearsal as they prepare for an exciting final showcase performance. With a wilderness-inspired theme and a welcoming camp culture, this is the perfect place for campers to grow, connect, and find where they belong.

Lights, Camera, Action: Musical Theatre Camp

Get ready to grab your popcorn and take the spotlight at Lights, Camera, Action: Musical Theatre Camp! CYT invites performers ages 3–13 to step into the magic of the movies during a high-energy week filled with singing, dancing, acting, movie-themed games, creative activities, daily devotionals, and rehearsal as they prepare for an exciting final showcase performance. From the joy of the big screen to the thrill of performing movie favorites live onstage, this camp is a celebration of all things cinema and musical theatre.

One Act Camp: Whistle Stop

Ready for the ultimate theatrical challenge? At One Act in a Week Camp, campers ages 12-18 will come together to create a fully staged one-act play in just five days. From memorizing lines to crafting props, designing costumes, and adding lights and sound, the actors will be involved in every step of the production process to bring the story from page to stage. This immersive camp emphasizes acting, character development, and storytelling through a variety of techniques and styles, with a focus on teamwork and creativity. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or stepping on stage for the first time, this exciting and comprehensive experience will take your theatrical skills to the next level.

Oceans of Fun: Mini Musical Theatre Camp

Ahoy, ocean explorers! Get ready to dive into a week of musical magic at Oceans of Fun: Mini Musical Theatre Camp! Perfect for ages 3–8, this half-day adventure camp is packed with singing, dancing, playing, and pretending—under the sea style! Campers will swim through imaginative games, ocean-themed activities, and rehearsals that help build confidence, teamwork, and performance skills. From dancing with dolphins to rocking out with sea turtles, this camp is a wave of fun, laughter, and creativity that will leave every little performer feeling like a true sea superstar!

Pirates Musical Theatre Camp

Get ready to hoist the sails and make a splash at Pirates Musical Theatre Camp! CYT invites performers ages 6–13 to embark on a high-seas adventure packed with singing, dancing, acting, pirate-themed games, creative activities, daily devotionals, and rehearsal as they prepare for a swashbuckling final showcase performance. It’s the perfect way to end the summer—full of imagination, laughter, and unforgettable memories with new mates.

Camp Showcase

Friday night after day camp, students perform in a showcase they have rehearsed during their fun-filled time at camp. Parents get to come watch their kids perform the material they have learned in just one short week. Showcase is a celebration of the week’s work and gives kids a glimpse into the energy and excitement of being part of a full CYT production.

Camp Counselors

CYT Dallas is seeking highly skilled and motivated Summer Camp counselors to lead students in week-long camps! Camp Counselors lead children through a variety of activities including acting, singing, dancing, improv, music, crafts, and more. Camp counselors embody the heart and spirit of the CYT Brand!

Intern Applications

This is a unique opportunity for 15-18 year olds to serve as junior counselors at CYT camp. Interns will help lead campers through rotations, assist in a variety of camp activities, and get hands-on experience with educational theatre.

Inquiring About Financial Assistance?

CYT is pleased to offer financial assistance via payment plans to families who would otherwise not be able to participate in our summer programs. Email camps@cytdallas.org to inquire. 

Camp Policies

Refund Policy
We are unable to provide refunds for camp registrations. If a conflict arises with your previously made camp registration, email camps@cytdallas.org about the possibility of a CYT credit.

After Care 
We offer aftercare until 5:30pm for parents who cannot pick up until after work. Sign up for after care in your confirmation email after camp registration. For those not registered for aftercare, there is a $50 late fee for campers picked up past 3:15 pm. 

Age Policy
Campers must turn the eligibility age by the Monday of the camp they wish to attend. 

Registration Deadline
Registration for camp ends at 5pm the day before camp starts.

Potty Trained
All campers must be potty trained to attend camp.

Allergy Alerts
CYT is a nut free zone. Please do not pack foods containing nuts for your camper. If there is an additional food allergy at camp, all families will be alerted and asked not to bring in that allergen. Please email camps@cytdallas.org to let us know.

Diverse Abilities, Special or Specific Needs
CYT openly welcomes all children. If your child can function in a group/class setting but needs extra help or attention, our counselors will work alongside them to ensure they have a phenomenal camp experience. After you register, you will receive a confirmation email with a form asking for more info about how to serve your child best. Please fill that out and email camp@cytdallas.org to explain any special or specific needs your child has - the more info we have, the better! That information is shared only with your child’s counselors so they can help your child have a fun and successful week of camp. If your child requires one-on-one attention and assistance, we require a family member to stay at camp. CYT is unable to provide personal aides for campers. 

Christian Youth Theater
Christian Youth Theater develops Christ-like character and creativity in kids through quality theater arts training that brings families and communities together while reflecting Jesus. We welcome all kids of varying faiths, backgrounds, and beliefs.
