This course focuses on the techniques of both short-form and long-form improvisation. Study will be both academic and application-based. Students will grow in comedic timing, teamwork, quick decision-making, physical comedy, and storytelling skills.
Objectives:
- Refine Comedic Skills: Advance students' understanding of comedic timing and delivery, focusing on more sophisticated techniques in improvisation (Anchor Standard 5: Develop and refine artistic techniques and work for presentation).
